GETTING STARTED

We assume you have the basics of web browsing, here, like writing a URL and clicking on a link to open a linked web page. Go to the Getting Started guide to learn all the PhaseOut basics.

FAQ - Technical and Support inquiries

Q: I don't know how to install new skins or I can't download and install new skins

A: Click on PhaseOut skin button, you get the web page with all the available skins and, in the sidebar, it shows up the skin manager. You then can click the download button on the right side of the desired skin on the web page and a PhaseOut pop up appears saying it will close in 3 seconds. (it has nothing to do with pop up blocker, this is a PhaseOut page, so it will always come up.) Within two seconds you should get a horizontal loading progress bar of the downloading skin. Once the skin is downloaded it will automatically replace the current skin. If that won't happen there may be only two reasons:
1: PhaseOut is not set in your firewall to be able to perform the process. Include the program in the exceptions. 2: Line or servers may be down. Try later.
To replace the new skin with those previously installed, simply click on the skin previews in the side bar.
