BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL you shall be aware of the following fundmental points:

• CHECK FOR UPGRADES. The PhaseOut browser performs a check for upgrades when connected to Internet at start up for your convenience, no personal data is transmitted to our servers. Click here for the privacy statement. You have the option to turn off this feature, though.
  
  
• OPT-IN FOR CANDEO TECHNOLOGIES. The PhaseOut browser is a user indirect supported project and has an opt-in (you can choose yes or no) for the installation of additional search tools powered by Yahoo. This opt-in, if left yes, will install the CANDEO Navexcel search bar in IE, easy removable thorough the remove programs tool in the control panel, eventually. The Candeo Navexcel bar provides Yahoo powered searches in the PhaseOut, also, and generates a small revenue when collecting clicks on sponsored results, like google with firefox and safari, overture, findwhat and other platforms. There is no charge for the PhaseOut user and all is totally legal. There is absolutely no user tracking information sent. This is the only incoming that helps and supports the PhaseOut whole free project, so it is up to you to install and decide if you like to contribute with your action in the support of the PO project.

• Minimum requirements are: Internet Explorer 5, Pentium 400mhz, with resolution 1024*768 up suggested. PhaseOut requires the Flash plug-in and if not installed it will be noticed and proceed for the installation.

• REMOVAL / UNINSTALLATION. Easy like any other serious software, START, then control panel, pick the add or remove programs, look for PhaseOut and click the remove button. Remember to set IE to be your default web browser back if you previously choose PhaseOut to be the default one. In IE, open the tools menu, then Internet options and, in the program panel, at the bottom, click the check IE to be the default browser.
